I’ve seen the Phantods a bunch, and fun fact: my sister and I went to elementary, middle and high school with band member Alex Weinhardt. Megan was in orchestra with him. He clearly got more out of the class than she did. The Phantods are a great band to see live - seriously, go see them now.
Megs and I also saw Walk the Moon two weekends ago, and this was the first time during a show where I felt too old to be there. They were opening for The Naked and Famous, and I just couldn’t identify with their lyrics or their sound. I just felt… removed, especially during the song with the lyrics, “Kiss me on the futon.”
